Savannah Coca-Cola commits support to The Children’s Hospital
Savannah Coca Cola is privileged to be able to commit $125,000 in support for The Children’s Hospital.
The Children’s Hospital at Memorial provides care for approximately 70,000 children each year; more than 4,300 are inpatient admissions. The new freestanding facility will be located in the building that currently houses the Savannah Rehabilitation Hospital on Memorial’s campus. This facility will consolidate all pediatric inpatient units, the pediatric intensive care unit, a four-room surgical suite, pediatric ancillary services, a 24-hour pediatric emergency department and family support space.
Construction is expected to begin early 2016 and open spring of 2017. Coverage will be 35 counties in southeast Georgia & southern South Carolina.
