Director of Operational Marketing
Scott Smith has been a member of UNITED’s family since 2005. He has held many roles including On Premise Area Manager, On Premise Sales Manager for Birmingham, Market Development Manager for the Birmingham Division, and most recently the Director of Operational Marketing of Coca-Cola Bottling Company, UNITED – Central Region.
In Scott’s most recent role as the Director of Operational Marketing for the Central Region, he leads marketing strategies, manages the company’s portfolio of brands, including new brand and package additions/deletions, category development, and brand and package performance. Also in his role, Scott and his Region counterparts lead the development of topline annual marketing plans including promotional activity and brand initiatives for the Region.
Living in Pell City, Alabama, Scott is married to his wife, Brittney Smith, and has two sons named Mason and Chapman Smith. He serves in his church, Church of the Highlands, as a small group leader and loves leading worship. Scott also holds the position of a Board Member of Alabama Food Manufacturer of Alabama and a member of the Alabama Grocer’s Association.
