Mayor Welcomes Coca-Cola as a Partner
in the City’s 2013 Commemoration
“Having Coca-Cola as a supporter and sponsor is just an added bonus to our year-long commemoration. Coca-Cola has always supported the city of Birmingham and our efforts to improve this community and I look forward to our continued relationship,” said Mayor Bell.
“Additional programs sponsored by Birmingham Coca-Cola Bottling Company will be announced throughout the year.” said Walter Body, Consumer Marketing Manager, Birmingham Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
The events which Coca-Cola will sponsor will add to the city’s efforts to make the 2013 Civil Rights Commemoration a successful and memorable time for the City of Birmingham and all those involved,” said City of Birmingham Chief of Staff, Chuck Faush.
The civil rights movement is one of the most defining events in American history; the City of Birmingham is working to provide a strong example of Americans fighting for the ideals of justice and equality.
