Supporting the Girl Scouts of Hattiesburg

The 2013 Hattiesburg, Mississippi tornado was a large and violent EF4 multiple-vortex wedge tornado that devastated portions of Hattiesburg, West Hattiesburg, Petal, Mississippi, and surrounding locations during the late afternoon and early evening of February 10, 2013. It was one of eight tornadoes that touched down in southern Mississippi and southwestern Alabama. The tornado reached a maximum path width of 0.75 mi (1.21 km) during its path through the Hattiesburg area and reached estimated maximum sustained winds of 170 mph (270 km/h) in the Oak Grove community of West Hattiesburg

When the tornado hit Hattiesburg, the Girls Scouts’ office was badly damaged and they had to find a new home . . .for their organization and their Girl Scout Cookies! Hattiesburg Coca-Cola welcomed the Girl Scouts to set up temporary offices at Coca-Cola where they stored the Girl Scout Cookies!  Thank you, Hattiesburg Coca-Cola . . . and Good Selling to the Hattiesburg Girl Scouts!
