“Augusta Coca-Cola was a great partner to Augusta State and Georgia Health Sciences universities, and we look forward to building on those relationships as Georgia Regents University,” said Karl Munschy, Director of Auxiliary Services at GRU.
Augusta Coca-Cola will provide funding and make product donations in support of the university and its athletic programs; install credit/debit card readers on more than 50 vending machines across campus; and ensure all new machines are Energy Star compliant.
“We are extremely pleased that GRU has selected Augusta Coca-Cola as their exclusive beverage provider,” said Jerry Shumpert, Division Vice President, Coca-Cola Bottling Company United. “Our job is to provide quality products, equipment, and service, and to support the university as it grows and prospers. We look forward to developing an even stronger relationship in the years to come.”
Product donation requests will be managed by GRU’s Division of Auxiliary Services. Priority will be given to those requests that enhance the recruitment, retention, and progression of students, and patient outreach efforts. University and health system departments can make donation requests for the current year through Aug. 30, 2013, by visiting www.gru.edu/auxiliary/donation.php.
