Representatives Visit With McRae Coca-Cola

Representative Austin Scott, District Staff, State Representative Jimmy Pruett and local chamber members Visit Bottler

McRae Coca-Cola hosted Representative Austin Scott (R-GA-8), his district staff, State Representative Jimmy Pruett (R-149), and members of the local chamber for a Coca-Cola plant tour and market visit in McRae, GA. Thanks to Charlie Yawn, Sales Center Manager for McRae Coca-Cola Bottling Co. (a division of Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Inc.) and his team for being such gracious hosts. Charlie provided an overview of the facility, Coca-Cola’s 108 year history in McRae and commitment to the local community and economy. After touring the McRae Coca-Cola facility, Representative Scott participated on a market tour visiting the local Piggly Wiggly at which we shared our diverse portfolio, packaging and pricing strategy.

Pictured left at the McRae Coca-Cola facility are from left to right: Mark Smith (Coca-Cola), Debbie Bullard (local chamber), Gene Rackley, The Coca-Cola Company, Charlie Yawn, Representative Austin Scott, and State Representative Jimmy Pruett.
