Coca-Cola continues to broaden our ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee portfolio to give consumers more great-tasting options in this growing category. We offer beverages from illy and recently announced a 2017 launch for new Ready-To-Drink tea lattes and cold brew coffees from Gold Peak.
Dunkin’ Donuts, has announced a Dunkin’ branded RTD line of iced coffees that will launch in stores across the United States in early 2017. Our company will produce Dunkin’ Donuts ready-to-drink coffee beverages according to Dunkin’ Donuts specifications, including using high-quality Arabica coffee blends.
Coca-Cola’s extensive network of bottling partners will sell and distribute Dunkin’ Donuts ready-to-drink beverages, which will include real milk and sugar in a variety of flavors. This marks Dunkin’ Donuts’ first entry into the RTD coffee category, which has enjoyed strong growth over the past five years and now represents $2.3 billion in annual sales, according to Nielsen.
According to the head of our National Food Service & On-Premise organization Kathleen Ciaramello, “The ready-to-drink coffee category continues to experience significant growth. Our Coca-Cola team looks forward to working with Dunkin’ Donuts to further strengthen our expanding coffee portfolio.”
Dunkin’ Donuts has partnered with The Coca-Cola Company since 2012 to serve Coca-Cola products, including soft drinks, juices, enhanced waters and energy drinks, at Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the United States and select markets around the globe.
