11th ANNUAL HBCU 5K RUN/WALK
Coca-Cola UNITED, Coca-Cola’s African American Business Resource Group (AABRG) and Coca-Cola’s FAMU Alumni Group had a great time together at the 11th Annual HBCU 5K Run/Walk on June 30!
Who Is HBCU?
The Atlanta HBCU Alumni Alliance, Inc. is a nonprofit, community-based organization designed to strengthen the community by creating programs that benefit everyone. Additionally, HBCU provides support to underserved students interested in attending HBCUs.
The HBCU Mission
As described on their website at hbcualumniatlanta.org: “The mission of the Atlanta HBCU Alumni Alliance is to serve as an advocate for HBCU Alumni Associations by supporting the mission of HBCUs through scholarship fundraising, alumni reclamation and student recruitment in addition to aligning with the National HBCU Alumni Alliances by supporting and participating in programs that promote higher education, encourage healthy living, and fighting hunger.”
