Remember someone giving you a refreshing and delicious Coca-Cola? Maybe a long-time friend or grandparent handed you a glass bottle Coca-Cola, smiled at you and sat with you to listen or to share a special story or memory.  Or maybe … a total stranger offered you a Coke and a smile.

Gift a special moment.  Give the gift of a simple act of kindness that uplifts and makes the moment a memorable one.

That’s the core idea behind the brand’s festive campaign for 2018, which is anchored by the Coca-Cola Gift Bottle.  Featuring labels adorned with holiday wrapping and gift tags as well as nicknames ranging from Mom to Santa, the limited-edition 20-oz. packages of Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar will be a gifted Christmas surprise!

“We want to delight consumers and shoppers through small acts of kindness and show how Coca-Cola can be a gift that uplifts during the season,” said Melissa Palacios, brand manager, Coca-Cola TM. “What better way to share holiday magic than with an ice-cold Coke?”

‘Tis the Season of Giving

Coke and Thrillist have partnered to produce “‘Tis the Season of Giving” – a four-part original video series about ordinary people who are bringing extraordinary joy to friends and family over the holidays. Each 2-minute episode will introduce viewers to a different real-life holiday hero – from a pizzamaker in Brooklyn, to an Army veteran in Atlanta. Follow the series on Facebook.

“These positive, uplifting stories are real examples of how small acts of kindness that are shared with a Coke can create a ripple effect of optimism and joy this holiday season,” said Renee Overs-Hugee, content manager, Coca-Cola TM.
