Coca-Cola Bottling Co. UNITED, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, has a rich legacy of supporting higher education. A college education is instrumental in being competitive for the changing job market. Coca-Cola Bottling Co. UNITED is proud to support the quest for higher education with scholarships for high school students and tuition reimbursement for employees.

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. UNITED has a footprint that spans six Southeastern states, and is privileged to have the largest number of Historically Black Colleges and Universities in our footprint. This has allowed us to have a long-standing and impactful relationship with these institutions for decades.

The annual Pay It Forward internship program with our partner HBCUs is an additional opportunity to provide students a chance to experience various roles in the organization. Pay It Forward interns spend time learning sales operations, production, marketing, event planning, and community relations. Recently, we spoke with several of our partner HBCU presidents and leaders to share their story, and tell how Coca-Cola has positively impacted the institution.
