United Way Employee Fun Day

Florence associates and their families enjoying lunch

Florence Coca Cola and the United Way of Northwest Alabama partnered together on Friday, September 20, 2019 to create a day of fun for the associates. Events included a truck rodeo, a forklift rodeo, bowling, cornhole, and bottle toss. Prizes were awarded to the winners of each event.

We welcomed spouses and children of our associates, and shared hot dogs and ice cream while enjoying watching the team compete.

Representatives from the United Way were also present to create awareness around the phenomenal support that they provide to so many local agencies that help children and families right here in our local community.  Coca-Cola UNITED has always had a special place in our hearts for the United Way and all they do for so many people in need, so we do as much as we can every year to help raise funds and awareness for their programs.

Every sales center across our UNITED footprint takes part in this momentous annual endeavor!  In Florence, the weather was beautiful and a great time was had by all that attended. It was a tremendous way to start to our 2019/2020 United Way Fund Raising Campaign.
