The Columbus Large Store team handed out several mini cans to store managers around the region throughout the past month. Each manager has loved their gift and was very excited to be thought of in a special way!

Mini cans, first introduced in 2007, have become a big hit wrapped in a small package, 7.5 ounces to be precise.  Initially, Coca-Cola bottles were 6.5 ounces, and were only sold that way for more than 50 years.  In 1955, the first “king-sized” bottle was introduced, giving consumers the option for larger sizes.

Size options continued to increase for the next 50 years; however, with consumers watching their sugar intake and wanting the option of smaller packaging, in 2007 the mini can was born.

Part of what makes these gifts so special, is that people can’t just go online and order a mini can with their name on it, which makes these gifts truly one of a kind!
