Community Partnership: Miles College

Saturday, October 5, 2019 the campus of Miles College, located in Fairfield, Alabama came alive for Homecoming 2019.  The Golden Bears of Miles College took on Clark-Atlanta University on the gridiron, and alumni, fans and friends of the college enjoyed many festivities.

Coca-Cola UNITED is a proud supporter of Miles College.  Director of Multicultural Marketing and Community Affairs, Pam Cook, was on hand to present Mrs. Bobbi Knight, Interim President, a check for $10,000 for scholarships.

“Miles College is a staple among HBCU’s in our greater Birmingham, Alabama community, and it’s our pleasure to be here today and support getting students to school and through school,” said Cook.

Miles College is a private historically black liberal arts college founded in 1898, and is one of only 41 schools in the nation with a Center of Academic Excellence under the office of the Director of National Intelligence.  With core values including responsibility and integrity, Coca-Cola UNITED is proud to help support students as they navigate through this important journey at this juncture in their lives.
