Saturday, October 12 saw volunteers gather together at HOPE Community in Tallahassee to participate in a playground build for the children there. This was a coordinated effort for a KaBOOM Let’s Play playground build, sponsored by Dr Pepper and supported by Coca-Cola UNITED, with more than 400 volunteers over 3 days!
“Thank you and thanks to your team for a GREAT playground build this past weekend. We had the opportunity to experience a great three days at HOPE Community in Tallahassee and we all know the HOPE Community staff & the local Community could not have been more appreciative of your efforts,” said John Kanipe, Regional Sales Manager of Keurig Dr Pepper, to Steve Wood and the Sun Coast Coca-Cola team. “Your commitment, planning and execution were awesome as you raised the bar on playground builds and know that you made a difference in a lot of people’s lives. ”
Steve Wood, Coca-Cola Sun Coast Division Director, had this to say, “I really want to call out the Tallahassee team. On the anniversary of Hurricane Michael we all did something that will last beyond the scares of that storm. I could not be more proud of the team.”
