Acadian Village of Lafayette Hosts Christmas Event for Toys for Tots

Lafayette Coca-Cola, US Marine Corps and LARC (Lafayette Association of Retarded Citizens) joined forces Dec 7th at Acadian Village in Lafayette, LA to collect Christmas toys for Toys for Tots. The public was invited to attend and encouraged to bring a new, unopened toys and would receive FREE admission into Acadian Village.

The Coca-Cola Santa truck played holiday tunes and filled  the air with the spirit of Christmas while Lafayette Coca-Cola distributed Tum-E Yummie drinks.

The true joy of the event was at the count of toys …

over 35 boxes of toys were collected for Toys For Tots and the children and families they serve.
