Going the extra mile can make all the difference especially in the retail environment. During the 2013 CBL Leadership Conference, Lafayette  Coca-Cola Bottling Company was selected as 2012 Bottler of the Year. CBL owns and manages about 90 shopping centers throughout the United States.  Each shopping center nominates a local bottler that is actively engaged with their property.  Lafayette Coca-Cola was nominated by the Acadiana Mall management team for events and promotions that were executed throughout the year. Some of these events included Red, White and You, Meet and greets with University of Louisiana Athletics, Santa truck visits over the Christmas holidays, Breakfast with Santa and other events held throughout the year.

As a result of their outstanding partnership, Lafayette Coca-Cola and the Acadiana Mall management team received special recognition and a trophy during the conference.
