Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED Wishes Dreamland Bar-B-Que a Happy 60th Anniversary!

Dreamland Bar-B-Que

1958 was a historic year in Tuscaloosa. You may be thinking that’s because one of college football’s most famous coaches, Paul “Bear” Bryant, started his dominant coaching career with the Crimson Tide. While that’s certainly a Tuscaloosa milestone, there was another historical figure taking his first steps towards becoming a legend – John “Big Daddy” Bishop.

Armed with white bread, a famous sauce, and an unmatchable work ethic, Big Daddy created a Bar-B-Que empire that has crossed state lines and created countless memories for the people who’ve been fortunate enough to visit one of Dreamland’s locations. In spite of all the growth the restaurant has experienced, they’ve remained focused on contributing to their community and providing a wonderful environment for each and every patron who walks through their door.

Dreamland has been a valued partner with Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED for years now, and we wanted to help these wonderful people celebrate their 60th birthday with a southern classic! We’re proud to have contributed Share a Coke mini cans that include the Dreamland logo, raffle items, free beverages, and more to this joyous occasion – and look forward to many more celebrations to come.

Thank you to Dreamland CEO Betsy McAtee and the rest of the Dreamland team for having us, and remember – when it comes to Southern Bar-B-Que, there “Ain’t nothin’ like ‘em nowhere.”
