Pause to Give Thanks

Thanksgiving … pause to give thanks

In the year of 1863, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed our nation’s first official Thanksgiving holiday, which would be reverently observed, nationally, on the fourth Thursday of every November.

As in it’s beginning, so it is today; a day to remember, to count our many blessings (name them one by one, if you will, or  can) and be thankful. It’s also a time to give, to share, to gather together.

So, as you celebrate Thanksgiving, whether its volunteering with local organizations, visiting or sharing with others in the community,  getting together with friends, or gathering with family (be it large, small, or a family of two)

We wish you all the “HAPPY”  your blessings, thankfulness, joy, giving, visiting, sharing or gathering can bring to YOU and TO OTHERS.
