TASTE THE FEELING … of giving to the United Way of Central Alabama
Coca-Cola UNITED has a long history of partnering with United Way. And we’re excited to continue supporting such an impactful organization in our area by volunteering as 1 of 51 “Pacesetter” companies in the 2017-2018 Fall Campaign
To kick off our campaign, many of our associates visited the YWCA of Central Alabama and Girls, Inc., where they had the opportunity to experience, first hand, how their annual contributions are making a difference throughout the year.
These associates represented Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Classic Foods, Customer Solutions Center, Fixed Assets, Human Resources, Information Technologies (I.T.), Marketing, National Retail Sales, On Premise, Pricing, Procurement, Sales, Shipping, and Service. What a great and humbling experience to see some of those that our contributions are helping.
Here at UNITED, we make the most of our campaign from educating our associates on the different ways they can give, sharing how United Way has helped or touched someone we know or work with, and by having fun events like “Coke Float Day” and weekly raffles with great prizes. All proceeds from events benefit the United Way.
While we do have serious fun and enjoy the events of the campaign, nothing compares to knowing our contributions – your contributions – will help people of all ages everyday in Central Alabama next year. That’s why we’re passionate and diligent to meet our goal.
