Pensacola Coca-Cola, Body Armor, and Family Dollar work together to supply Students in need

Store manager Catherine Bowers and Kacie Reaves from Rhodes Elementary School as well as the local Coca-Cola team collect donations & sample drinks.

In preparation for the upcoming school year, Pensacola Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED partnered with Body Armor and Family Dollar to supply, fill and donate school supplies for students in need throughout the local community.

Event day sampling trailer

Displays were set up, end caps filled, and banners hung at Family Dollar locations within the districts in order to promote school supply collection events. During the events customers purchased and donated supplies. The sales center set up the event trailer and sampled various Body Armor flavors, Monster Energy and Fanta. Additionally, bicycles were donated by Coca-Cola to raffle at the events in anticipation of gaining additional supplies. All donations customers made earned them an entry to the drawing.

Body Armor supplies back pack

With the help of Family Dollar District Managers Reba Phillips, Amanda Alexander, Key Account Developer Stephanie Wedel and the Pensacola Sales Team this was a hugely successful event. In total, 30 Body Armor back packs stuffed with supplies along with 10 large bags of items were donated to Rhodes Elementary School and Santa Rosa County Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive.

This successful campaign goes to show what community teamwork can do.  A big shout out to everyone who donated time, energy and/or supplies!
