The 20 oz Coca-Cola balloon was a picture hit for the students, as they gathered with smiling faces for several photos

Called “Ground Zero” for Hurricane Michael, Jinks Middle School lost their entire gymnasium on Oct 10, 2018 bringing down two of their four walls.  Principal Blythe Carpenter said architects for Jinks have been working on the new gym’s design since last year.

On September 17th 2019, Coca-Cola United Panama City had the pleasure and opportunity to participate in Jinks Middle School Gymnasium Ground Breaking Ceremony.  Construction on the project is expected to take up to a year and a half to complete.

To celebrate this momentous event, Coca-Cola United Panama City provided personalized Share a Coke mini cans labeled ” Jinks”, drinks, water, and dessert for the staff and students.

Jinks Middle School, part of the Bay District school system, saw a large turnout of support for the day, as the gym will not only serve the school, but some community events as well.
